I’m not sure how they find so many maps, but they do.  StrangeMaps is the place to go if you are like me and find maps simply enjoyable.  Every kind of map and graphic you would think of is on this site.  So kudos to the creators of strange maps.

Subway/Metro/Train maps are interesting to me for some reason.  I think it’s the colors and lines that make it into it’s own little piece of art with a purpose.  The first time you look at a map you’re completely confused, then it starts to make sense once you give it some time and then finally you can project a little confidence in understanding how it flows.  That probably sounds really exasperating.  Anyways, a cool travel trends book you can get on Amazon for about $15.

I came across this site MapOfStrange.com today while I was getting ready to do a post on old maps.  I could not stop looking at all the weird things they have found through Google Earth.  So I figured I would just post this today.  Their are some crazy things going on people…crazy.
